Kitchen Lead
Location: Marietta
Pay: $18.00/hour
Position: Kitchen Lead
Shift: Mon-Thurs. 12pm-8pm, Fri. 10am-6pm
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide direction to volunteers who prepare and serve meals.
- Manage court ordered community service workers and delegate their job duties.
- Manage after meal clean up process.
- Enforce kitchen safety and organizational protocols.
- Assist in meal preparation in the absence of a meal provider.
- Ensure facilities are in order for daily operations.
- Monitor clients during meal service.
- Opening/closing shift responsibilities.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Essential Requirements
- High School Diploma, or GED.
- Knowledge of kitchen and food safety requirements.
- ServSafe certification is preferred or completion of certification within 60 days of hire.
- Four years or more experience in a kitchen or restaurant is preferred.
- Prior experience in a supervisory position is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office is preferred.
Physical and Work Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, carrying, pushing, pulling, kneeling and reaching.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Work environment is in kitchen equipped with commercial appliances.
