Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Sunrise Orthopedics, you will undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on relieving pain, restoring functional mobility, and enhancing the life quality of each patient.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients using diagnostic techniques to assess muscle, joint, and nerve function.
• Oversee the activities of physical therapy assistants to ensure the effective delivery of care in accordance with treatment plans.
• Administer manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, tailoring methodologies to fit individual patient needs.
• Make home environment assessments to provide recommendations that promote independence in daily activities.
• Document patient evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Participate in case conferences and collaborative discussions that contribute to ongoing patient care strategies.
• Provide guidance and training to patients and their families about exercise regimes, use of therapeutic devices, and overall rehabilitation plans.
• Stay updated with advancements in physical therapy practices and integrate evidence-based techniques into treatment.
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care while encouraging patients in their rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist at Sunrise Orthopedics will primarily work with a diverse patient population facing orthopedic challenges, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, sports-related injuries, and rehabilitation for various musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications
