About the Position

Job Title: Seasonal Travel RN - PACU Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:00 - 20:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of current PACU experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS & ACLS required Must-Have: Candidates without the following skills will not be considered for the role: Minimum 1 year of current PACU experience BLS & ACLS certification Description: We are seeking a Seasonal Travel RN for the PACU unit. This is a fast-paced environment that requires collaboration with multiple departments and providers. Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care and satisfaction are essential. The unit has 27 beds and a staff of 12, including 10 RNs and 2 Charge RNs during the day shift, and 2 RNs at night. Patient ratios include 4 patients in preoperative care and 1-2 patients in the PACU. Typical procedures performed include blocks, orthopedic, spine, neurology, interventional radiology, ENT, general surgery, GI, vascular, and colorectal. Candidates with CPAN or CAPA certifications are preferred. On-call duty includes 1 weekend call shift per month. We are looking for a nurse who demonstrates the values of caring like family.
