Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Auburn, New York .

This assignment offers a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule with 40 guaranteed hours , supplemented by a defined call rotation. The clinical environment requires an anesthesiologist comfortable with OB, independent regional anesthesia and blocks, and supervision of up to 4:1 .

Call Coverage

• Night call: 5P–7A
• Weekend call: 7A–7A

• Must be able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes when called in

Providers may occasionally be released early as ORs close following prior call coverage while remaining subject to the assignment's guaranteed-hours structure.

Clinical Scope

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care within a hospital-based surgical program
• Independently perform regional anesthesia and blocks
• Provide OB anesthesia
• Supervise anesthesia care teams at ratios of up to 4:1
• Participate in scheduled weekday coverage and required call rotation

Requirements

• Active New York medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Minimum 2 years of Anesthesiology experience
• Proficient in regional anesthesia
• Able to independently perform blocks
• OB experience required
• Comfortable supervising up to 4:1
• Residents and fellows cannot be considered
• Able to meet the 30-minute call response requirement
