Job Title: General Laborer Job Description

This contract role involves performing hands-on general labor tasks in a production and packaging environment, primarily focused on labeling and packaging adhesive products. You work on your feet for the full shift, handle repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy, and help maintain a clean and orderly plant.

• Label and package various lines of adhesive products according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Apply required hazard labels to packages with careful attention to detail and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform highly repetitive production tasks consistently and accurately throughout the shift.
• Sweep work areas and help maintain cleanliness and organization across the plant.
• Follow all safety rules and plant procedures while working in conditions that can vary with the weather outside.
• Remain on your feet and actively engaged in production and packaging tasks for approximately 8 hours per day.
• Support general warehouse, production, and assembly activities as needed to meet daily output goals.

• Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8 hours per day.
• Strong attention to detail when labeling, packaging, and applying hazard labels.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks and performing the same activities consistently each day.
• Reliability and good work tenure in previous roles.
• Experience in general labor, general production, or warehouse environments.
• Basic understanding of packaging and production workflows.

• Previous experience in labeling and packing roles.
• Background in warehouse, assembly, picking, or similar production support functions.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a plant or warehouse setting.

This position is on 3rd shift, working Monday through Friday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. You spend most of the shift on your feet in a plant setting where temperature and conditions inside can vary depending on the weather outside. The work involves handling adhesive products, operating in a production and packaging area, and performing cleaning tasks such as sweeping. The environment is repetitive, task-focused, and safety-conscious, with a strong emphasis on maintaining cleanliness and following plant procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Bend, IN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in South Bend,IN.
