Technical Sales Manager

Overview Position Summary Client is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Technical Sales Manager to drive the growth of our 10x Genomics Single Cell service portfolio. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role that combines scientific expertise with strategic business development to identify new opportunities, provide technical consultation, and close complex sales. This position will be based in Rockville, Maryland, with remote or hybrid flexibility. Responsibilities Business Development: Identify and prospect new customers across academia, biopharma, and clinical research sectors to expand market share in single cell services. Technical Consultation: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for 10x Genomics Single Cell platforms, providing guidance on experimental design and sample preparation. Full Sales Cycle Management: Manage the complete sales process including lead generation, technical presentations, proposal development, and deal closing to meet or exceed sales targets. Customer Success & Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, project alignment, and high levels of customer satisfaction. Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to provide insights and support continuous service improvement.
