scRNA Technical Sales Manager

Psomagen, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Technical Sales Manager to drive the growth of our 10x Genomics Single Cell service portfolio. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role that combines scientific expertise with strategic business development to identify new opportunities, provide technical consultation, and close complex sales. This position will be based in Rockville, Maryland, with remote or hybrid flexibility. Job Profile Full-time Location: Remote / Hybrid (Based in Rockville, MD) Responsibilities Business Development: Identify and prospect new customers across academia, biopharma, and clinical research sectors to expand market share in single cell services. Technical Consultation: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for 10x Genomics Single Cell platforms, providing guidance on experimental design and sample preparation. Full Sales Cycle Management: Manage the complete sales process including lead generation, technical presentations, proposal development, and deal closing to meet or exceed sales targets. Customer Success & Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, project alignment, and high levels of customer satisfaction. Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to provide insights and support continuous service improvement. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or a related life sciences field 3+ years of experience in NGS-related technical sales or field application support Strong understanding of 10x Genomics platforms and single cell workflows (e.g., scRNA-seq, ATAC-seq, Multiome) Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and meet or exceed sales targets Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value Preferred Qualifications Established network within the genomics research community. Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline management. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment. Proficiency in utilizing AI tools for marketing content creation .
