Business Account Manager

We are looking for a Business Account Manager to join our account management and business development team, driving the adoption of Genedata Biologics® and Genedata Bioprocess® for global pharma and biotech organizations. About the Role The role offers a high level of interactivity and responsibility, based in Lexington, MA, with about 20% US travel and occasional travel to Europe. Salary range $110,000-$125,000 USD, plus sales commission. Responsibilities Stakeholder management (in pre- and post-sales) Coordinate with Genedata-internal stakeholders (e.g., project and product management and technical sales) Understand customer pain points to identify opportunities for new business development and business expansion with existing customers Build strong customer relationships across entire organizations with scientists, R&D heads, IT managers and other stakeholders Prepare and deliver scientific and sales presentations Skills & Experience MSc or PhD in biology, biotechnology, bioprocess, bioinformatics, or a related field Familiar with the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or software industry Familiar with biopharma R&D processes (antibody screening technologies, CGT, discovery technologies, bioprocess, bioanalytics, CMC), biopharma production, analytical instrumentation, or lab automation Familiarity with enterprise or capital equipment sales and stakeholder management is a plus Self-motivated team player with ability to work independently Ability to interact productively with scientists and IT experts at all levels of an organization Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Strong interpersonal skills in combination with a talent for giving presentations What We Offer Genedata offers an attractive Total Reward Package comprising a competitive salary and benefits in return for your contribution to our success.
