Performs duties as a floor officer and acts as a deterrent to theft. Responds to and proactively addresses life safety, security, and operational issues. Flexibility to work overtime as required.The impact you can haveChecks employee ID badges to control facility access and logs visitors/contractors.Monitors facilities CCTV, fire/burglar, and access control systemsAnswers and transfers internal/external phone calls as part of Front Desk procedures.Conducts daily and monthly audits and facility inspections (i.e. compliance audits, safety/security checklists, etc.)Responsible for initiating internal/external investigations based off daily inspections findings and/or information received from other sourcesSecures facility during non-operational hoursProvides after-hour security service/surveillance (walk and/or monitor associates to their automobile, etc.) to associates in times of needResponsible for overseeing incident/injury reporting and applies first aid in times of needTracking and monitoring all damaged, pilfered carton reportsResponsible for initiating and controlling Emergency ResponsePerforms other administrative duties as needed by AP ManagementYou’ll bring to the roleMinimum of six months experience in Asset Protection/Loss Prevention or security preferredHigh School diploma or equivalentMust be flexible to work any hours requiredSelf-motivated; must be able to work with little or no supervisionFirst Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.
