Your Daily Role

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, crafting tailored treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy interventions designed to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Engage collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, and rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Inform and educate families and patients regarding therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and prescribed home exercises
• Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress per regulatory and facility protocols
• Contribute to care team meetings and discussions to ensure streamlined and coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification
• Additional specialized certifications (i.e., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience in a similar role is highly recommended
• Ability to effectively manage patients with complex medical histories and mobility challenges
