Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health and substance use issues, effectively identifying any co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based interventions specifically addressing both mental health and substance use challenges.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on skill-building, developing coping strategies, and relapse prevention techniques.

• Coordinate care with members of our multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support in treatment, including regular communication and joint case reviews.

• Monitor client progress through regular substance use evaluations and utilize motivational interviewing to motivate clients toward recovery.

• Educate clients and their families on the connections between mental health and substance abuse, promoting adherence to treatment protocols.

• Document treatment interventions and client progress accurately and promptly, complying with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in ongoing training and participate in case conferences and staff meetings to broaden skills in managing co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience utilizing evidence-based therapies for treating co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
