Analytics Engineer

At JVM, we are looking for a seasoned Analytics Engineerwho wants to do more than build dashboards. This role is responsible fordesigning the data models, analytical frameworks, and forecasting tools that leadership relies on to make capital and operational decisions.You will partner directly with theVice President of Revenue & Performanceto transform complex business questions into structured data solutions that produce clear, actionable insight. *Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future. * What You’ll Do Build Scalable Data & Reporting Infrastructure Design and develop structured data models that power enterprise reporting Write analytical SQL to transform raw data into clean, reusable datasets Define and standardize key business metrics across teams Ensure reporting consistency across Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Asset Management Develop Forecasting & Analytical Frameworks Build driver-based forecasting models across revenue and operational metrics Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to support budgeting and capital planning Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical solutions Help shift the organization from retrospective reporting to forward-looking insight Develop certified datasets that power BI dashboards (DOMO or comparable platforms) Reduce reliance on manual spreadsheets and ad hoc reporting Create scalable reporting solutions that support cross-functional teams Partner Across the Business Work closely with theVice President of Revenue & Performanceon strategic analytics initiatives Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Asset Management to build data-driven insights Communicate technical findings in clear, business-oriented language Identify opportunities to improve data structure, reporting, and analytical processes Qualifications Required 6+ years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, or advanced analytics Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, CTEs, window functions) Experience with BI tools such as DOMO, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Advanced Excel modeling and forecasting experience Experience working with structured data environments (data warehouse or similar) Ability to translate business problems into scalable analytical solutions Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders Preferred Experience inmultifamily real estate or asset-heavy industries Exposure tofinancial planning, budgeting, or FP&A processes Experience building analytics infrastructure inlean or evolving organizations Competitive Salaries That Are Market-priced Annually Housing Discount & Housing Rental Discounts Comprehensive Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance Reimbursement for Fitness Centers Telehealth and Flexible Spending Accounts Short and Long Term Disability Coverage Generous Time Off and Company Paid Holidays 401(k) plan with matching funds Community Volunteer Days Tuition Assistance Maternity Leave Life and AD&D Insurance Employee Assistance Program Identity Theft Protection Pet Insurance Hospital Confinement and Critical Illness Protection About Us:JVM Realty is a multi-family real estate investment and property management company headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois.
