Job Summary: Join a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a clinical setting. This role involves assisting with patient management and supporting healthcare providers to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients.
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone, triage appropriately, and offer reassurance and clear instructions.
- Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints, while accurately documenting all information in electronic medical records.
- Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management, including sample medications and logs.
- Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adequate supplies in patient care areas, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterile and functional.
Education and Experience:
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required.
Work Environment:
Varied shifts available within a regional healthcare setting in the United States.
