Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health, focusing on their history, symptomatology, and treatment goals.

• Maintain regular therapy sessions with clients, employing effective counseling strategies to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse.

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document clinical findings, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers such as psychiatrists or social workers, offering personalized referrals as needed to optimize patient care.

• Engage in crisis intervention and stabilization techniques, providing support to clients in acute distress while maintaining a calm and guiding presence.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will encompass a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, who face various mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals dealing with mood disorders, anxiety issues, substance abuse, and eating disorders, among others. A culturally competent approach is vital, as you will be addressing the unique experiences and backgrounds of each client to ensure effective therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• In-depth understanding of various mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention strategies.

• Strong ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n
