Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify clients' emotional, social, and environmental factors that may affect their mental health.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans that set realistic goals and incorporate culturally sensitive interventions.

• Provide therapeutic counseling to individuals and families facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, drawing on evidenced-based practices.

• Deliver crisis intervention services, conducting risk assessments, and formulating safety plans in urgent situations to ensure client well-being.
\n
• Collaborate with various community organizations and health agencies to coordinate available resources and advocate for holistic care for clients.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives to educate the public about available services and reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues.

• Participate actively in case conferences, staff meetings, and professional training, ensuring the continuous development of skills and adherence to best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily impact diverse groups within the community, including individuals facing economic hardship, those experiencing domestic violence, and families struggling with mental health challenges. You will provide tailored interventions to assist clients in overcoming barriers to their mental health and advocating for their needs within larger systemic structures.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

• Active Florida state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.

• Proficiency in trauma-informed care principles and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a social service agency or mental health setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
