Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Facilitate counseling and therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, maintaining client engagement and providing effective therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, in compliance with organizational policies and best practices.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment and ensure continuity of care, including developing discharge plans based on psychosocial assessments.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges, utilizing evidence-based strategies.
\n
• Engage with clients’ families or support systems to involve them in treatment planning and provide essential resources for ongoing support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a varied patient population, including adolescents, adults, and families facing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and concurrent disorders. Demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor is critical in fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship that promotes healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• An active state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is required.

• Proficiency in technology, including electronic medical records systems, word processing software, email, and spreadsheets.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and maintain a high level of self-direction.

• A minimum of three years of experience working in an outpatient mental health setting is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with specialized training in trauma-informed care, dialectical behavior therapy, or cognitive-behavioral therapy will be favored. Experience working with a diverse client base and familiarity with telehealth practices will enhance your application.
