THE ROLE You will take on a newly created role overseeing our talented and growing marketing team. The Marketing Manager will be accountable for leading HockeyStickMan's marketing function and turning the brand, customer base and channel opportunities into measurable commercial growth. The role owns content, social media, partnerships, events, digital advertising and email marketing, and is responsible for building the systems, priorities and accountability required for those areas to perform as one coordinated department. This is a hands‑on leadership role, not a purely strategic or relationship‑building position. The successful candidate must be able to set direction, manage people and budgets, handle their own administration and step directly into execution when the work requires it. The role works closely with the Director of Sales to connect marketing activity to retail, direct sales, wholesale and broader commercial priorities. WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead the marketing function for HSM, including the strategy, planning and performance of content, social media, partnerships, events, digital advertising and email marketing. Manage, coach and hold direct reports accountable while preserving appropriate ownership and initiative within the team. Build integrated campaigns that connect brand activity to traffic, leads, conversion, sales and retention; oversee paid digital media, email marketing and customer lifecycle programs, using internal and external resources as required.
