BK Systems, Inc., part of the Altus Fire & Life Safey family of companies, located in Pembroke, NH is looking for a driven, solutions-oriented professional with strong technical acumen and relationship-building skills. This is a high-touch, customer-facing role that requires proactive engagement, clear communication, and collaboration across departments to ensure exceptional service delivery and long-term client satisfaction.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 plus commission

Responsibilities

• Work with other BDM's, technicians, and CAD operator to meet customer needs.
• Identify and qualify opportunities with excellent sales, presentation, and closing techniques.
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company service/product offerings.
• Conduct building surveys to support the development of estimates.
• Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog that will support the designated sales plan.
• Close sales to meet or exceed sales plan objectives.
• Maintain established accounts through regular customer contact in pursuit of additional sales.
• Maintain correct and complete records of all sales and sales-related activities.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in fire/life safety services
• Proven track record of building a client base and driving business through lead generation, relationship management, and strategic selling
• Willingness to travel locally as needed

• Demonstrated success in identifying and closing new business opportunities
• Established network within architecture, design, real estate, or construction industries
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead client meetings and navigate complex sales cycles
• Self-motivated, innovative, and professional in both appearance and conduct
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Bachelor's degree preferred
