Work Environment\n

You will enjoy a flexible work schedule, primarily Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, which fosters work-life balance and allows you to attend to personal commitments while serving your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients to determine their unique care needs and emotional challenges.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions focusing on topics such as grief, loss, and life transitions, facilitating supportive dialogue to help clients navigate their emotions.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to create and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to the unique circumstances of each geriatric resident.

• Develop and execute educational programs for staff and families, focusing on strategies to enhance the emotional well-being of elderly individuals.

• Facilitate grief counseling sessions, offering tools and strategies for residents and their families as they cope with end-of-life issues and loss.

• Introduce and manage cognitive stimulation programs aimed at enhancing memory and mental acuity among senior clients.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited educational institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
