Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their duration, severity, and impact on daily functioning.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each client’s unique needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a client-centered approach.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address various mood disorders effectively.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor and track client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.

• Stay updated with the latest research in mood disorders to enhance treatment strategies and contribute to the overall knowledge base of the organization.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring all client information is safeguarded.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be on clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, there may be opportunities to work with vulnerable groups, such as individuals facing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, providing crucial mental health support during their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n
