Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You’ll work on-site with a dedicated caseload at a fully-equipped center-based classroom. Your skills in fostering learning, independence, and growth will empower each student to reach their unique potential. Collaborate with experienced educators and support staff to create individualized educational plans and deliver high-quality instruction tailored to each child’s needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4); please be prepared to provide this with your resume upon application
• Previous experience with Elementary Developmental and Cognitive Delay (DCD) students is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of best practices in special education, especially for center-based programs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering inclusive classroom communities and supporting diverse learners

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs for elementary students with DCD
• Deliver differentiated instruction and behavioral support within a center-based classroom
• Maintain clear documentation of student progress and interventions
• Partner with families, therapists, and colleagues to ensure holistic support for every student
• Create a nurturing, positive, and structured classroom environment
