As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $35.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur: 06:00 AM - 03:30 PM Sun: 06:00 AM - 03:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and incidents according to site procedures. Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while maintaining professional communication with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. Possess an Armed Guard Card/License. Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton experience are preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
