Seeking a passionate professional with a strong background in behavioral support and special education to work closely with middle school students. This long-term, onsite contract offers the perfect opportunity to make a profound impact in an inclusive, well-supported educational environment. The position involves working alongside dedicated educators and specialists, including paraeducators, peer mentors, a BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, and a Psych/SW, with a manageable class size ensuring effective, individualized attention to students.

Essential Qualifications:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required (Schools—RBT specialization highly valued)
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher or RBT in a classroom setting (minimum one year)
• Flexibility and excellent teamwork skills
• Current, active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license or documentation showing it’s in process (required for interview consideration)
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, student-centered support

Primary Responsibilities:

• Directly support a classroom of 10 students with a range of learning and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraeducators, therapists, and other support staff
• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and positive behavior intervention plans with fidelity
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students, including those with behavioral challenges
• Regularly document student progress and communicate effectively with the educational team and families
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive school culture
