A confidential AM Law 100 law firm is seeking a junior associate attorney to join its employment and labor practice in California. This litigation-focused role supports sophisticated employer-side matters for multinational and high-growth companies, with regular exposure to cross-border employment issues that arise in the modern global workplace.

THE ROLE

Manage and support employment litigation, including wage and hour, discrimination, and related workplace disputes Draft and respond to pleadings; prepare written discovery and document productions Support deposition preparation and takeaways; assist with hearing and trial preparation Conduct legal research and draft memoranda and motion briefs Advise on U.S. and cross-border employment questions that arise from multinational operations and workforce changes Support workplace investigations and day-to-day employment counseling as needed

REQUIREMENTS

1 to 3 years of employment litigation experience Background in international employment law, including cross-border employment issues Active admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Strong academic credentials and excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

Experience from a large or highly structured law firm employment practice Experience advising multinational employers on U.S. and cross-border employment matters
