Human Resources Generalist

Work Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM About the Opportunity trak group is partnering with a growing organization in Burton, OH to find a Human Resources Generalist. This is a newly created role with meaningful scope—you'll report directly to the General Manager, build the HR function from the ground up, and serve as a true strategic partner to leadership and employees alike. Your contributions will be visible, valued, and impactful from day one. Responsibilities Build and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business goals Manage full-cycle recruitment and selection to attract and retain top talent Oversee employee relations, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture Develop and maintain performance management systems that drive accountability and growth Administer compensation, benefits, and HR compliance in accordance with labor laws Assess training needs and coordinate development programs across the organization Maintain HR metrics and provide leadership with data‑driven decision support Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and management alike Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field 5+ years of broad HR experience Strong knowledge of labor law and HR best practices Experience with HRIS or HRMS platforms and MS Office Proven ability to build relationships and manage interpersonal dynamics at all levels Excellent communication, negotiation, and active listening skills High degree of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information Demonstrated ability to operate independently and build processes from the ground up Interested or ready to learn more?
