Schedule:

• 24-hour beeper call: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
  

Coverage Dates:

• November 25 December 1
• December 8 December 11
• December 18 January 8
• April 23 April 30
  
  
• Call is for both inpatient and outpatient needs.
  
• Call response time: 20 minutes
  
• No admissions required.
  
• No APP supervision or teaching responsibilities.

Practice Details:

• Approximately 75% Interventional / 25% Non-Invasive Cardiology
  
• Nuclear Medicine (NUC) reading/activity is required
  
• Patient volume: approximately patients per shift
  
• Level III Trauma Center
  
• Stroke-certified hospital
  
• No hospital/surgery center privileges required per assignment details.
  

Requirements:

• Active California medical license required
  
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
  
• BC/BE accepted if within 3 5 years of residency
  
• Active FLUORO certification required
  
• ACLS and BLS required
  
• DEA required
  
• Updated CV with all hospital affiliations
  
• Current hospital clinical activity in the specialty is required
  
• Any clinical gaps greater than 3 months must be explained
  

Credentialing:

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: days
  
• Temporary privileges are not available.
  
• Provider must already hold an active California license.
  

Travel & Lodging:

• Travel and malpractice insurance provided.
  
• If long-term housing is required, lodging may be approved with some extra house rent allowance.
