We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager in Dallas, TX to oversee the accounting and financial reporting functions for a portfolio of multifamily and commercial real estate assets. This individual will manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and partnership accounting standards. Responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting for 10–12 properties, reviewing financial statements and reconciliations, managing general ledger activity, and coordinating purchase and sale transaction accounting. The Senior Accounting Manager will work closely with external auditors, CPA firms, tax advisors, and property management teams to support reporting requirements and year-end tax activities. This role will also assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, process improvements, and internal controls while providing leadership, training, and mentorship to accounting staff. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong leadership skills, real estate industry experience, and a proven ability to analyze financial results and support strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Real estate, multifamily, or property management accounting experience preferred
• Minimum 4-6 years of accounting experience
• CPA designation preferred

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
