Personal Injury Attorney

Job Overview Law firm seeks a Personal Injury Attorney in Hartford, Connecticut. This full‑time position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring a minimum of three days in‑office per week. The role involves managing personal injury cases from inception through trial, with a focus on delivering outstanding results for clients. Responsibilities Manage a personal injury caseload from pre‑suit through litigation. Conduct case evaluations and develop litigation strategies. Take and defend depositions. Draft and argue motions. Attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences. Prepare cases for trial and serve as trial counsel when necessary. Work closely with clients, medical providers, expert witnesses, and insurance carriers. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to maximize case outcomes. Maintain accurate case management records and meet all litigation deadlines. Requirements Active Massachusetts Bar license required. Connecticut Bar admission is a plus but not required. Minimum three years of personal injury experience. Trial experience required. Experience handling motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other personal injury matters. Strong negotiation, litigation, and courtroom advocacy skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage a high‑volume caseload efficiently. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Client‑focused mindset with a commitment to exceptional service. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts. Skills Strong negotiation and litigation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication.
