Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois teaching licensure and certification required
• Current CTE (Career and Technical Education) endorsement
• Previous school-based teaching experience essential
• Ability to provide engaging lessons and classroom management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver general education curriculum to junior high students, following district guidelines
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with fellow educators, administrators, and support staff to promote student achievement
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed
• Uphold school policies and contribute to the overall school culture

Details for this contract:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Work hours: 7:30AM to 2:21PM
• One position available
• Assignment beginning August 26, 2026, concluding June 3, 2027
• Interview process consists of a 30-minute virtual or in-person discussion
