Qualifications:

• Valid LBS1 endorsement is required
• Experience or strong comfort level teaching in self-contained programs is preferred
• Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday
• Previous experience with elementary and/or middle school-aged students is beneficial
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and manage a self-contained classroom for elementary or middle school students (exact caseloads may vary)
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Adapt instruction to meet students’ unique needs and learning styles
• Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and families to foster student growth
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory requirements
• Support students’ academic and social-emotional development in a positive learning environment
