Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Special Education (LBS1) license required
• Professional Educator License (PEL) for Special Education
• Previous experience in co-teaching or resource special education—especially at the middle school level—strongly preferred
• Strong collaboration skills and adaptability in inclusive, mainstreamed settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide co-taught instruction for 7th grade ELA and Math classes
• Manage a caseload of 10 students, focusing on IEP goals centered in reading and math
• Collaborate with general education peers and participate in all academic, specials, lunch, and recess activities
• Maintain thorough IEP documentation and open communication with parents and staff
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
