Sous Chef Opportunity
One of Austin's premier upscale restaurants is looking to hire an ambitious Sous Chef who is passionate about their craft, is not afraid to work hard in this dinner-only concept, and desires to position themselves for an Executive Chef role down the road.
Must have high-volume fine dining experience with Modern French experience.
Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day culinary operations while reporting to the Executive Chef
- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients and all food preparations
- Standard of remarkable experience and exceptional food quality
- Menu recipe execution and proper plate presentation for immediate service to restaurant guests.
- Open availability, weekends and holidays.
Sous Chef Qualifications:
- Previous experience in culinary arts, fine dining, or farm-to-table
- Insist on the highest standards and absolute best experience
- Passion for food and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership qualities and love to train others
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment
