Project Superintendent

Construction Project Site SuperintendentSeeking an experienced, hands-on Construction Project Site Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial, restoration, and public works construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience supervising large-scale construction projects and possess exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.The Superintendent is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within quality standards, and in accordance with contract documents. This individual will coordinate subcontractors, manage field personnel, maintain project schedules, and serve as the primary field representative for the company.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily field operations from project mobilization through final completion.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure efficient workflow.Develop and maintain short-term and long-term project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.Conduct daily site inspections to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications.Maintain detailed daily job logs, progress reports, and project documentation within Buildertrend.Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and project-specific safety requirements.Review construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders to ensure accurate field execution.Monitor workmanship and enforce quality control standards throughout all phases of construction.Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions, consultants, and project owners.Identify scheduling conflicts and field issues and work proactively with the Project Manager to resolve them.Verify materials are delivered accurately, stored properly, and installed according to manufacturer specifications.Assist with punch list completion, project closeout, and final inspections.Mentor field staff and promote a positive, professional jobsite culture.Requirements5-8 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on large-scale commercial construction and public works projects.Strong understanding of commercial construction sequencing and field operations.Experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating complex project schedules.Working knowledge of public works projects, prevailing wage requirements, and government contract compliance preferred.Restoration, renovation, and occupied-building experience is a plus.Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.Strong leadership, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.Excellent communication skills with owners, architects, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams.Experience using Buildertrend or similar construction management software.OSHA 30 certification preferred.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Join a growing team committed to delivering high-quality commercial, restoration, and public works projects.
