This is a highly visible, hands-on opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being close to the workforce and helping managers handle employee relations, performance concerns, compliance, training, and everyday people challenges. The position currently has no direct reports, but it offers the potential to help develop a larger HR function as the organization continues to grow. Serve as the primary HR partner for employees and operational leaders across multiple facilities. Guide managers through employee relations, investigations, corrective action, performance management, and workforce concerns. Ensure consistent application of HR policies and compliance with federal and New Jersey employment requirements. Support onboarding, leave administration, workers’ compensation, benefits, payroll coordination, and employee documentation. Conduct I-9 reviews and maintain accurate, compliant employee records. Facilitate new-hire orientation and practical training for employees, supervisors, and managers. Use HRIS data and workforce trends to help leadership make informed decisions. Support recruiting, engagement, retention, and employee-development initiatives. Build strong relationships with employees at all levels while maintaining confidentiality and sound judgment. What We’re Looking For 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience. Previous HR leadership, management, or high-level HR business-partner experience. Professional fluency in English and Spanish. Strong employee-relations, investigation, coaching, and conflict-resolution experience. Working knowledge of New Jersey employment laws and HR compliance. Experience supporting multiple facilities or operational locations. Manufacturing or production experience required; food or beverage experience strongly preferred. Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and payroll-related processes. Ability to work onsite and travel occasionally to other company facilities.
