If you have experience with CNC mills, lathes, or Swiss machines and want consistent work with advancement potential, this role is worth a look.Job SummaryAs a CNC Machinist, you will set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes, inspect precision parts, and make minor program edits as needed. You'll work with both short- and long-run production in a highly organized manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes (Haas and multi-axis machines)Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic troubleshootingInspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and height gaugesMake minor program edits at the machineRun short and long production jobs (multiple setups per week)Complete documentation using electronic systems (iPads/tablets)Machine aluminum and steel components to tight tolerancesFollow safety, quality, and production standardsQualifications1+ year of recent CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, or Swiss)Experience with setups, tooling, and measuring toolsAbility to read blueprints and work to specificationsExperience with Haas machines and/or multi-axis equipment preferredStrong attention to detail and reliabilityWillingness to learn and grow within the companyPay & Benefits$28–$40/hr, based on experienceMultiple shift options, including weekendsMonday–Thursday schedules available (long weekends)Clean, climate-controlled shopModern, well-maintained equipmentStrong team culture and supportive managementContract-to-hire opportunity with long-term career growthWork with a global leader in drive and motion technologyThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chanhassen, MN.The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
