Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions to promote connection, understanding, and healing among participants.

• Providing personalized one-on-one therapy, helping clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating with clients to develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and aspirations.

• Monitoring client progress through various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms, ensuring treatment plans are effective and evolving as necessary.

• Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to coordinate care, consult on complex cases, and facilitate integrated services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on young adults aged 18 to 30, who are enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often confronts a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. Your role will involve creating a safe, accepting therapeutic environment that empowers them to achieve lasting recovery and personal empowerment.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Great Lake Behavioral Center offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
