Work Environment\n

As a Telehealth practice, all services are delivered remotely, which not only provides flexibility but also enables us to reach individuals who may have limited access to mental health services in their local communities. Our supportive team-oriented atmosphere emphasizes collaboration among licensed therapists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to client care. Work hours are primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the possibility for flexible hours to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that account for patients' cultural contexts and personal experiences, allowing for the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive treatment solutions.

• Engage in crisis intervention and emergency support to assist clients during challenging mental health situations.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment modalities, and navigate community resources that aid in their recovery.

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, thereby ensuring the security and confidentiality of client information.

• Participate in case conferences and seek professional development through attending relevant training sessions and workshops.

• Remain informed on current psychological research and cultural considerations that enhance therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically caters to a diverse clientele, including individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, genders, ages, and socioeconomic statuses. You will work closely with ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant communities, using trauma-informed and culturally competent approaches to therapy. Your ability to connect with these populations will greatly contribute to their treatment experience and improve their outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas.

• A strong understanding of various mental health disorders and their evidence-based treatment modalities, coupled with a commitment to cultural competence.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy, utilizing a culturally inclusive approach.

• Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention, maintaining composure in stressful situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to build rapport with a diverse client base.

• Competency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and related software applications.

• A commitment to adhering to ethical guidelines and maintaining confidentiality for all patient interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 70,000 and 100,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
