Work Environment\n

This position operates in a telehealth setting, allowing for a flexible and accessible work-life balance. You will be connected with patients Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine each patient’s unique health needs and craft individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, adapting techniques to resonate with patients' cultural backgrounds.

• Facilitate engaging individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on enhancing coping strategies, resilience, and overall mental health.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies via telehealth platforms.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment modalities, and community resources, enhancing their understanding and involvement in the care process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethics.

• Contribute actively to team meetings, participate in case conferences, and engage in ongoing training sessions to foster cultural competency within the practice.

• Keep abreast of the latest research in mental health and best practices to inform treatment strategies and improve patient outcomes.

This role primarily serves a multicultural patient demographic, including diverse ethnic and cultural communities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants seeking mental health support. Your cultural competence and sensitivity will play a critical role in establishing trust and ensuring effective therapeutic alliances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatments, coupled with skills in culturally inclusive therapy techniques.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, with a proven ability to engage clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Exceptional crisis intervention abilities, with a calm and collected demeanor in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating rapport-building with a wide range of clients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in technology used for remote therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
