This remote role allows you to effectively provide mental health services from the comfort of your own space while impacting the lives of diverse individuals across Munford, Tennessee, and beyond.

Work Environment\n

This position operates in a fully remote telehealth work setting, promoting flexibility and work-life balance. Our virtual workspace is equipped with state-of-the-art telehealth technology that facilitates seamless communication and engagement with clients. While the primary schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, we recognize that flexibility may be necessary to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that are culturally sensitive, gathering information to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient's unique life experiences and backgrounds.

• Execute evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting methods to suit the cultural and personal needs of patients. This may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and other modalities.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, providing supportive environments where clients feel safe to explore their mental health challenges and build resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, sharing insights and coordinating treatment as needed.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, equipping clients with coping strategies and appropriate resources.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment avenues, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.

• Engage actively in case conferences and team meetings, contributing to the collective knowledge and expertise of the multidisciplinary team.

• Participate in ongoing cultural competency training and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license in Tennessee as an LCSW, LPC, LPC/MHSP, LMFT, or PsyD.

• Solid understanding of mental health disorders and a proven track record of implementing evidence-based treatment strategies.
\n
• Experience delivering culturally responsive individual and group therapy, demonstrating the ability to adapt approaches to meet clients' diverse needs.

• Proficient crisis intervention skills, with a calm demeanor in high-stress situations and a commitment to crisis management protocols.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering rapport and trust with clients from different backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
\n
• A strong commitment to upholding professional ethics, confidentiality, and therapeutic boundaries.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting, valuing collaboration and shared goals.

Preferred Experience\n
