Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble a variety of electro-mechanical products, including control panels, industrial enclosures, and small wired box assemblies.
- Perform all wiring tasks-including crimping, routing, labeling, and harnessing-with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Assemble and support basic PC board production, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during daily assembly operations.
- Carry out precise hand soldering work for PCB-based assemblies and small electronic components.
- Read and interpret schematics, electrical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), travelers, and work instructions to complete builds correctly and on schedule.
- Use measurement tools to verify component fit, alignment, and overall assembly accuracy.
- Follow proper ESD handling procedures to protect sensitive components during assembly and testing.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience perform wiring, crimping, harnessing, and layout work for multi-component electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Assemble PC boards and use hand tools with skill and accuracy.
- Carry out precise hand soldering on small PCB-based assemblies.
- Read and follow schematics, drawings, BOMs, travelers, and work instructions.
- Use measurement tools effectively to verify assembly quality.
- Adhere to proper ESD handling procedures.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on quality and craftsmanship.
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, or medical device assembly is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic machine equipment is beneficial.
- IPC-610/620/J-STD certifications are preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO/AS9100 and Lean Manufacturing documentation practices is desirable.
