Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance use history as well as their mental health conditions.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that holistically address addiction and underlying mental health issues, ensuring alignment with each client’s goals.

• Facilitate dynamic individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.

• Collaborate with fellow team members, including psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers, to deliver integrated and comprehensive care, tailoring interventions as needed.

• Educate and support families, engaging them as active participants in the recovery process, and providing guidance on how to best support their loved ones.

• Maintain meticulous and accurate records in accordance with regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and facilitating seamless communication among team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with clients who are grappling with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and associated challenges. Your expertise will be essential in developing recovery plans that not only target substance cessation but also enhance overall mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PsyD.

• A Masters or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Specialized training and experience in addiction counseling techniques.

• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse, along with familiarity with co-occurring disorders.

• Strong therapeutic skills with the capacity to build rapport and motivate clients towards recovery.

Preferred Experience\n

We value candidates who bring at least two years of relevant experience in the mental health field, specifically with a focus on addiction treatment. Compensation and Benefits\n
