PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adults (Acute and Chronic Pain Management)
Patient Volume/Census: 25-30 cases/day
Case Mix: Interventional Pain Management, 100% Injections

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: eClinicalWorks
Office Equipment Available: Fluoroscopy, RF generator, in-office procedure suite
Support Staff Available: RNs, MAs, Rad Techs
Reason for Coverage: Ongoing Supplemental Coverage (4-6 shifts/month)

Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (1 week credentialing)
Credentialing Timeline: 1 week

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Cervical/Thoracic/Lumbar Epidural Steroid Injections
Facet Blocks / Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
SI Joint Injections
Joint Injections
Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
Kyphoplasty
Stellate / Celiac / Lumbar Sympathetic / Superior Hypogastric / Ganglion Impar / Gasserian / Occipital Nerve Blocks

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active NC License
Board: BC/BE in Anesthesiology or Physiatry (Interventional Fellowship preferred)
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Interventional Pain Management, high volume procedures (25-30 cases/day)
Other Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, EHR proficiency (eClinicalWorks), team player, strong bedside manner

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform 100% interventional pain injections including epidural steroid injections, facet blocks, RFA, SI joint injections, and spinal cord stimulator trials.
Manage a high-volume procedure caseload of 25-30 cases per day in an outpatient clinic setting.
Utilize in-office fluoroscopy and RF generator to perform precision-guided pain management procedures.
Collaborate with a dedicated support team (RN, MA, Rad Tech) to ensure efficient patient flow and procedure readiness.
Adhere to strict compliance protocols for medication management, including low MME doses, drug testing, and PMP database checks.
