General Accountant Our client, a growing and innovative manufacturing organization in Marathon City, is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented accountant to join their accounting team. This full‑time direct hire position initially requires onsite work, with a hybrid schedule—up to three remote days—available after 6–12 months of onboarding. Responsibilities Enter and maintain purchase orders Process payroll for 130+ employees using ADP Provide support and backup coverage for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions Maintain lease records and ensure accuracy of related documentation Prepare and post journal entries with proper supporting documentation Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities Identify and implement process improvements within accounting operations Support special accounting and finance projects as needed Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities Effective communication and problem‑solving skills Experience processing payroll is a plus We encourage you to apply if you are looking for a hands‑on accounting role where you can make an impact while expanding your skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr Monroechamber
