Role: Maintenance Technician You will perform high‑quality maintenance work in single‑family rental homes while providing outstanding customer service to residents. Key responsibilities include: Completing maintenance service requests across multiple trades. Providing excellent customer service and promoting a quality living experience for all residents. Performing required work while demonstrating respect for residents’ homes. Completing regular ProCare visits to perform proactive maintenance and repairs, completing the associated checklist in the mobile app, and scheduling the next ProCare visit. Educating residents on maintenance topics and the expectation webpages ( Educating residents on the functional systems of their home. Conducting general condition assessments at all property visits and alerting the property management team when items require immediate attention. Using technician reports to identify improvement opportunities. Performing repairs in vacant properties during the on‑market or turn process. Using and caring for company‑supplied tools, materials, and vehicles. Reviewing next day’s appointments and ensuring equipment, material, and time are available for a single visit. Adhering to all Safety guidelines. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2‑5+ years proven experience in residential repairs and maintenance, or related building maintenance. OSHA 10 required (new hires will receive up to 90 days to complete certification). Current driver’s license, automobile insurance, and any other state‑required licenses/certifications. Comfortable with mobile devices (iPad, iPhone) and mobile applications. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; strong verbal and written communication; multi‑lingual a plus. Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Physical ability to climb, reach, stoop, kneel, crawl, lift, and move more than 50 pounds. Capacity to work regularly, including occasional weekends and holidays, and be at work on a consistent basis. Preferred Certifications EPA Type I, Type II, or Universal HVAC Certification. CPO certification (pool). Other relevant certifications. Benefits Competitive pay with annual bonus program.
