Overview

Litigation Associate – Commercial and Consumer Warranty/Lemon Law at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP in San Diego, California. This role focuses on commercial and consumer warranty work, including matters brought under the Song-Beverly Act. The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in California and have experience in litigation at various stages.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of cases involving various commercial litigation matters, including pre-litigation analysis, written discovery, drafting and arguing motions, and attending court conferences.
• Exposure to consumer warranty/lemon law matters and opportunity to balance commercial matters with consumer warranty cases.
• Client contact and management of cases from intake through resolution.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice in California.
• One to seven years of litigation experience, including exposure to consumer warranty/lemon law matters.
• Experience in various stages of litigation (pre-litigation analysis, written discovery, drafting and arguing motions, court conferences).
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $190,000 - $210,000 and up to $40,000+ in bonus potential. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
