Senior Vice President, Human ResourcesLocation: Houston, Texas Job Type: Full-TimeA large, multi-location organization is seeking a Senior Vice President of Human Resources to provide strategic and operational HR leadership across a decentralized business. Reporting to executive leadership, this individual will partner with operating company leaders to align people strategies with business objectives, strengthen leadership capabilities, and support continued organizational growth.This position offers a defined succession path to Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives and operational priorities.Partner with executive leadership and operating company leaders on workforce planning, talent strategy, and organizational effectiveness.Lead leadership development, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.Oversee core HR functions, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and HR operations.Develop strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent across a geographically dispersed workforce.Balance enterprise-wide HR initiatives with the needs and autonomy of individual operating businesses.Support acquisitions, organizational integration, and change management initiatives.Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations across multiple locations.Provide practical, business-focused HR guidance while building strong relationships with operational leaders.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including senior executive-level responsibility.Experience leading HR across a large, multi-location or decentralized organization.Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership and operational business leaders.Experience supporting frontline, field-based, or other operational workforces preferred.Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and organizational integration is highly preferred.
