Overview
\nNewly created, hybrid Senior Accountant role due to company expansion. 3-6 years of public accounting or financial reporting experience. CPA a plus. For more opportunities from KNM Resources, please visit -openings
\n \nResponsibilities
\n· In accordance with GAAP, prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures.
\n· Reconcile intercompany balances and prepare consolidation entries.
\n· Reconcile data and consolidated reports
\n· Provide accounting assistance with integration for M&A activities
\n· Ensure proper accounting methods of complex accounting issues through research.
\n· Implement new accounting standards and reporting requirements.
\n· Involvement in Purchase Accounting as it relates to M&A activities
\n· Assist with SOX 404 compliance and control improvements.
\n· Partner with external auditors.
\n· Participate in special projects
\n \nQualifications
\n· Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
\n· CPA a plus
\n· 3 - 6 years of public accounting or financial reporting experience
\n· 10k, 10Q, SEC and GAAP experience
\n· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
