Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Speech Language Pathologist, you will be a vital clinician, expertly assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders to significantly improve patient quality of life. Every day, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations for all referred patients, meticulously implementing individualized treatment plans. You'll contribute clinical expertise to develop or upgrade treatment programs and protocols, and actively shape departmental and organizational goals. Responsibilities Conduct a thorough records review, administer appropriate standardized and non-standardized tools/methods, including cultural and linguistic factors, and identify accurate severity levels. Weigh prognostic factors to formulate prognosis, including developmental and acquired brain injury factors. State measurable short and long‑term goals targeted at functional outcomes and modify the plan based on changing medical condition, needs, progress, and risk factors. Coordinate plans with the interdisciplinary team and make appropriate referrals to other services as needed. Follow evidence‑based information for selecting intervention strategies, incorporating age, culture, and linguistic factors, and revise treatment interventions appropriately. Apply learning, behavioral, and pragmatic tools and procedures. Job Requirements Masters or other degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program and perform patient clinical care.
