Assistant Director of Nursing
Job Summary:
Gulfside Health & Rehab, a renowned provider of short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team in Clearwater, FL. As a key member of our leadership team, the Assistant Director of Nursing will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents while fostering a positive and supportive work environment for our staff.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement effective care plans, policies, and procedures
Conduct rounds and provide feedback to staff to improve patient care and outcomes
Lead and mentor a team of licensed nurses, encouraging professional growth and development
Participate in surveys and inspections, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare partners
Assist in managing budgets, inventory, and supplies for the department
Requirements:
Active RN license in the state of Florida
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar position in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Ideal candidate has strong survey outcomes in a previous Assistant Director of Nursing role
