Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op

Work Model This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office. Position Overview Position will apply principles of Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering to manufacturing processes to achieve maximum quality and productivity from labor, materials and equipment. Key Responsibilities Provide shop floor support in daily problem solving activities. Identify and implement projects such as productivity and cost reduction projects in assigned area. Develop and maintain appropriate process documentation to support ISO 9000 Certification. Create job work instructions as requested on existing and incoming equipment. Develop and implement World Class Manufacturing Processes. Investigate, justify and implement capital equipment needs. Communicate company goals, objectives and philosophies to the workforce. Attend communication meetings. Follow Emerson Ethics and Safety Programs. Adhere to all Export, Import and Supply Chain Security Policy requirements relevant to the position. Follow State and Federal Environmental Compliance Programs. Adhere to ISO 9000 Standards. Experience: 1-2 years. Travel Required: Minimal. Computer Skill: Personal Computer Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point; Proficient with Internet. Above average verbal and written communication skills. Ability to get along with others. Can effectively function in a matrix and team environment. Daily attendance.
